SAPPER EDGAR HOLLAND.
Sapper Holland was the son of Mr. Richard and Mrs. Mary Holland, of 23 Belmont Street, Euston Road, Bangor. He joined the Royal Engineers, May 19, 1917, and was sent to France on April 17th, 1918, and lost his life on the 29th of the same month, at the age of 19 years.
Brightly beams our Father's mercy,
From His Lighthouse evermore;
But to us He gives the keeping
Of the lights along the shore."
