DRIVER ERNEST THEIBERT.

Ernest Theibert was the only son of Mr. Theibert, and of Mrs. Theibert, the Waterloo Inn, Bangor. He joined the Royal Field Artillery in August, 1914. He was subsequently rejected on account of defective eye sight, but so keen was he on serving his country that he persevered until he was again accepted. He was wounded by shrapnel at Escandocurnes, north east of Cambrai, on November 1, 1918, and died the same day, aged 33 years.
