Fel enghraifft ragorol o'i lythyrau "athrawaidd," yn dangos gwirionedd yr hyn a ddywed Mr. Harry Evans, "y cymerai y drafferth fwyaf oedd fodd i roi'r cyngor a'r cyfarwyddyd goreu" i'r efrydydd ieuanc, da gennym allu rhoddi'r llythyr a ganlyn o'i eiddo at Mr. Tom Price, yn yr iaith yr hysgrifennwyd ef ynddi:—

"My Dear Price,—I am always glad to do what little I can for a brother in mental adversity—a brother I say, for are we not all, i.e., all of us who seek after the true ideal in spirit and in truth' but members of the one family—veritably children crying in the night for more light.' Well, blessed is he that seeketh after truth, even if he succeed not wholly! I think the only advice I can give you re judging your own writings, is:—produce them in the first instance as quickly as you may, at 'fever heat' if you like and can; then lay them by for as long a time as will enable you to return to them in a critical mood—in 'cold blood,' when you will probably find some, or some portions will want burning, others amending or remodelling, and perhaps few others remain as they are a 'joy for ever.' I found that course
