Cerddasai'r newydd am ei gystudd yn 1904 i'r Ficerdy, ym Manordeilo, ac nid oedd aros i'r Ficer heb ysgrifennu'n gynnes ato, a'i wahodd i aros yn ei gartref am wythnos neu ddwy.

Mor naturiol a chyfoethog yw'r cyffyrddiad yn llythyr ei hen gyfaill, Mr. Thomas Thomas, Ty'nywern, ger Pontypridd.. O Fryn Gafel, Trecynnon, Aberdâr, yr ysgrifenna, Hydref 24, 1904" Y mae cymaint o amser er pan welais chwi ddiweddaf, fel yr wyf yn teimlo hiraeth ar fy nghalon am eich gweled, neu gael gair oddiwrthych. Clywais eich bod yng nghyfarfodydd ——, yr oeddwn felly, yn meddwl eich bod yn well.

Yn fuan, dyna air yn dilyn hyn i'r Gwynfryn

BRYN GAFEL,
TRECYNNON, ABERDARE,
19th November, 1904.

My Dear Mrs. Williams,
I am very much grieved to hear of dear Mr. Williams's illness, but was greatly relieved to find he is slightly better. I hope and pray that the Lord of His mercy will allow us to keep him for several years yet. Wales would not be Wales without' Watcyn Wyn.' He is filling a sphere which no one else can but himself.

I wish I could run down to see him.

We are in a state of excitement in Aberdare, God having visited His people, and it is wonderful in our sight. Mr. Evan Roberts from Gorseinion commenced it; he and his brother are the central figures of the movement. I hope and pray that the salvation of thousands will be the result! The influence on young people from 18 to 25 is wonderful.

I do hope my dear friend will soon be restored to better health. I am glad to say that my health is still keeping up, the only thing that annoys me is rheumatism in my limbs, which disables me to walk sometimes.

I saw Tawelfryn last Thursday; he wished to be kindly remembered to both Mr. Williams and yourself, and expressed his delight in the news that dear Mr. Williams is better.

Give our united regards to him and your beloved children. me, dear Mrs. Williams, with deep concern and sympathy.

I am, dear Mrs. Williams,

Yours very sincerely,

THOMAS THOMAS (Ty'nywern).

Cyn diwedd y flwyddyn yr oedd yn ysgrifennu drachefn:—

TRECYNON, ABERDAR,

Fy Annwyl Watcyn Wyn,
Nis gallaf ddywedyd pa mor dda gennyf oedd cael clywed, trwy
