4. Goddefai i'w gweinidogion gyfrannu ordinhadau crefydd iddynt.

5. Esgusodai'r Bedyddwyr rhag cydsynio âg athrawiaeth bedydd babanod. (Cyn hyn, fel y cofir, cyfrifid Bedyddwyr gyda theyrn-fradwyr).

7. Unai'r Anghydffurfwyr Protestanaidd yn un corff cyffredinol o dan yr un enw swyddogol cyffredinol "Ymneillduwyr Protestanaidd." (O dan Faddeuebau Siarl II. rhaid oedd i bob Ymneillduwr nodi ei enwad; nid oedd hynny'n ofynnol dan Ddeddf Goddefiad).

II. DIFFYGION DEDDF GODDEFIAD.

1. Goddefiad ac nid hawl a roddwyd i Ymneillduwyr i addoli.

2. Esgusodi rhag cosb, ac nid dileu y gosb a wnai. Arhosai'r hen ddeddfau gorthrymus o hyd ar ddeddf-lyfrau'r deyrnas—ond fod pardwn yn cael ei roi i'r Ymneillduwyr rhag dioddef y gosb.

3. Goddefiad cyfyngedig ydoedd; cauai Babyddion ac Undodwyr allan. Gorfodid pawb (ond y sawl a esgusodid) i fyned i'r Eglwys fel cynt. Yn ol llythyren y gyfraith heddyw, gellir cosbi y sawl nad elo naill ai i'r Eglwys neu ynte i gapel trwyddedig, ar y Sul i addoli.

4. Goddefiad amodol ydoedd. i. Rhaid i'r gweinidog Ymneillduol (a) gyd-synio â 35 allan o 39 Erthyglau Eglwys Loegr; (b) cael trwydded gan yr ustusiaid i bregethu; ii. Rhaid i'r capel gael ei drwyddedu gan Esgob neu Lys Gwladol;[1] iii. Rhaid i'r addolwyr beidio cloi'r drws pan yn addoli, byddant o dan gosb os gwnant."[2]
