For me, I ought to thank God every day of my life, that he gave me such a mother and such a father; that their lives were permitted to be such types of living godliness."

We copy the following from Brother Butler's pen:

"It is a privilege to add my brief tribute to the memory of our honored and beloved father. After an intimate acquaintance of more than thirty years, I can testify to his pure, gentle spirit; his upright, blameless life; his earnest service for the Gospel, his high moral sentiment, his sympathy for the poor and the oppressed.
