Gofynnais i'r ddau flaenor a losgent hwy ef,
eithr ni chafwyd ateb namyn ysgwyd pen. Ni
fynnent hwythau mo'r byd am ei ddinistrio gan
gymaint eu hofn. Euthum â'r tri i dŷ'r capel, ac
wedi gwneuthur copi o'r llythyr, llosgais ef.
Ochneidiodd yr hen ŵr L. ochenaid fawr a
dywedyd, "Diolch i Dduw am hyn'na." Y mae
saith mlynedd ar hugain er y noson honno, ac ni
ddisgynnodd arnaf am losgi'r llythyr felltithion
gwaeth nag a ddisgyn ar weinidogion yn gyffredin. Wele gopi o'r llythyr.
"In the name of the Father χ and of the Son χ
and of the Holy Ghost χ Amen χ and in the name
of the Lord Jesus Christ χ my Redeemer χ I give
thee protection χ and will give relief to thy
creatures χ thy cows χ calves χ horses χ sheep χ
pigs χ and from all creatures that alive be in thy
possession χ from all witchraft and from all other
assaults of Satan Amen χχχ
