HE DEVOTED A CONSIDERABLE PART OF HIS
WEALTH TO THE TRANSMISSION OF THE
GLORIOUS GOSPEL TO ALL LANDS.
He died June 5th, 1828.
AGED 74 YEARS.
STRANGER! should'st thou approach this awful shrine,
The merits of the honoured dead to seek;
The friend, the son, the christian, the divine,
Let those who knew him, those who lov'd him speak.
"A SINNER SAVED."
