Gan mai ychydig heblaw tybiaethau a ysgrifennwyd am yr emynydd, i brofi bod gwybodaeth sicr o ddeunaw mlynedd o'i oes, rhoddir yma ddau o lythyrau'r Adroddiadau y mae a fynno hwy â Morgan Rhys, y cyntaf a'r olaf, ynghyda rhestr o'r lleoedd y bu'n athro:

Reverend Sir,

The benefit that our neighbourhood received this last quarter from the Welch School, incites us to bless God, and to return you our hearty thanks praying God to reward all the promoters of so needful a charity. I make bold to acquaint you that M—R—, the Schoolmaster at present in Llandisilio Parish, has used his utmost diligence in a very engaging and familiar way to draw people of all ages to be taught with delight and pleasure; in this manner the young and the old have reaped uncommon benefit in so small a time. When the parents and other labourers, and indeed many farmers, saw the children so well instructed in the principles of the Christian Religion, then they, who were of riper years flocked there by night, with their candles and fuels, desiring with great concern to be likewise instructed. And I own, we, who were standers by, had no small pleasure and satisfaction in seeing the willingness of the Master to teach them together with the willingness of the neighbourhood to be taught by him. I therefore pray God to prosper and increase the number of faithful Schoolmasters. I hope you,
