Right worll. I am glad of yor salf welcome, esteeming yor health and credit more then anye paynes or expenses. I must desir you to accept my good will & wishes in pap for that I can not delyvr the same by mouth as othr men doe. Phip King of Macedonie had ūj good tydings brought him in one daye. That his men and horses had caried the olympian prices. That parmeris his Captayne genr al had over comed his enimyes, and that his wife was salfely delyvred of a man child whiche was Alexandr: Wher pon he cryed out to the Gods, for so manie fortunat messages, to send him one finalle misfortune. This advrsitie of the tyme whether it be right or wronge it is Gods doing and marvelouse in or eyes, what soeev it be it is but a trifle to yu. And seinge the epiloge [sic] of this controv sie provethe more comfortable then the prologe yov frendes will reioice amonge whom I accompt my self and doe humbly take my leave mayntorock the sixth daye of Aprile, 1616.
